Final Layout of film poster design 1

This is the final layout of my first film poster design. Here my inspiration was brought from 'The Tourist' and 'Chloe's' film poster, as they have a simple look which creates an effect on the audience. Even though this is the final layout of my film poster I have to add the text at the bottom and also the film four logos etc.

Extra things to do:

  • Italic the 'Elle magazine' title
  • Change the colour of the name 'Liane' to make it easier to read

First viewing of teaser trailer

I'm not sure whether you are able to open this in a larger format, so here are the 7 questions which I have planned to take with me to my first teaser trailer viewing. I was due to show my first cut today (17th February, 2010 - Thursday) however my footage didn't appear on the converted version, meaning that I'm unable to post my trailer to Youtube, also meaning that I was not able to show it today. This means that my first showing will be after half term, during the first week (starting 28th February 2010 - Monday).

Questions:
1. What is your favourite part of the trailer and why?
2. What is your least favourite part of the trailer and why?
3. What do you think the trailer is about?
4. Do you think the same effect is over-used?
5. How could the trailer be improved?
6. If you were to rate the overall trailer out of 10 what would it be?
7. If this were to be a real film, would you go and see the film after? Please give your honest answer with a justification.

Once my trailer has been viewed then this post will be updated with the results and outcomes.
